The one great thing about the internet, is that it allows you to keep track of people that you have not heard from in a long time. Even better than that, is that it allows you to keep track of people that are in your life now. You may want to share items, where talking on the phone would just not convey the message properly. Sometimes you do not want to meet up at the local bar but you still want to know how the persons day went. You are strapped for time, since you have a proposal at work due, so a telephone call is out of the question as well. So if your friends are all part of a social media web site such as Facebook, all you have to do is post a quick little blurb asking everyone how their day went. Later on, after you have finished your work, you can go back on Facebook and see their answers. If you are not able to be on your home computer or laptop, you can still use your IPhone to keep updated on what is going on with everyone. Every social media web site has an application that you can use on the IPhone. These applications make it so that you can easily access the information on your profile. This means that any messages that have been left for you on that profile, will be uploaded to the IPhone. Let’s go through a couple of them and see whats available.

If you are part of Twitter, then there are a whole host of applications that you can use on the IPhone. The most popular one seems to be the application named Tweetie. It seems to be the one IPhone Twitter application that has all of the features that are available in the Twitter API. But it is not the only one on the list that comes highly recommended. You can also use an application known as iTweets. If you choose these two or another application to use on the IPhone, then you will be able to see the latest updates by your friends on Twitter. Now even when you are on the go, you will never be out of the loop.

If you use Facebook, there are of course applications for it as well. But the best thing that you can do with Facebook, is to either access the site though your Safari browser, or use the official Facebook application for the IPhone. Both of these are good solutions since Facebook has taken the time and optimized their web site to work on the IPhone especially. When you go the site on the IPhone, it will redirect you to a special slimmed down version of the site for you to use. You still have the same features but less of the clutter that is usually there.

And the last social media app that you might want on your IPhone, is part of the newest social media web craze. It is of course, Foursquare. Foursquare has an app for every major cell phone out there. With Foursquare, you will get updates on where your friends are at a certain times of the day. This application is more of a novelty than a true social media app, but it will let you know the status of some of your friends throughout the day.

These are a couple of apps that you can use to keep updated with your friends status throughout the day. The IPhone was created to bring the best of the web on a mobile phone. With these applications, they inch one step closer to making that happen.

When most people get their first IPhone, they go through every feature possible so that they can get to know the phone intimately. Especially when the phone first came out. It was so new and exciting, that a lot of the first users would study the phone religiously. Now that you see the IPhone everywhere, there is less of a worship feeling about it. People are still impressed by the IPhone but now it has become something of a commodity. It is still special, but not quite as special as it once was before. But if you are losing that magic feeling that you once had with the IPhone, then fear not. That feeling can come back and you can be awed once again, by the discovery of certain features that you may not have known about. These features might also help you become more productive with your IPhone throughout the day.

The first feature that you may or may not have had noticed when you use the IPhone, is that when you shake it, it has the ability to erase a message, after you have just finished typing it. Sometimes when you are typing in the browser or any of the other applications that you may have to edit text in, you sometimes want a redo and say something a little bit differently. But it can be a pain, to go to the undo button in the phone. To avoid this, Apple made it so that you can just shake the phone and the undo option will pop up. All you have to do after that, is to confirm whether you want to undo the operation or not. Once you hit confirm, everything that you typed will be undone.

Another hidden feature that will help you throughout your day, is the fact that you can now install as many applications that you want. In the older versions of the IPhone, you had a set limit on how many applications you could install. Once you hit that limit, you would have to uninstall some of the application that you were not using at the moment. Ever since the phone updated to the 3.0 version, you can have as many applications as you want. This can be a good thing, or it can easily turn into a bad thing. You do not want to unnecessarily bog down your phone with a bunch of applications. But if you feel that you need this many applications to do your work, then you have the choice. Sometimes a person just wants to test as many apps as they can, then they will make the final decision on which one that they want.

The last hidden feature that we will discuss, is that you can tap your status bar to scroll to the top of whatever page you are looking at. This bit of information is a great time saver and something that you might want to do if you are looking at a very long document. So next time you have spent a long time scrolling to the bottom of the page, remember this feature to quickly get back to the top.

These are three hidden features that will help you be ore productive on your IPhone. There are many more that you can find if you look on Google. These discoveries will help you love the IPhone all over again.

An entrepreneur is a businessperson, but not all business owners are entrepreneurs. They may work in similar fields and do a lot of the same jobs, but there is a huge difference in the way that an entrepreneur and a businessperson approach their careers. It is a difference of attitude.

The business owner tends to focus on the business rather than his or her own ambitions. They are usually more traditionally minded and they are less likely to take risks. The financial benefits of business ownership tend to be most important, and their aim is to make and increase profits.

An entrepreneur looks at their business differently. Although they also own a business and have many of the same concerns as a business owner, entrepreneurs tend to be ambitious, if not a little egotistical. They want to be successful and respected without compromising on their lifestyle. Rather than spending all their time at work, they want to be able to enjoy themselves and be with their families. They are likely to have more creative input into their business, and to make bigger, bolder plans.

Entrepreneurs are usually more flexible than business owners. They may have interests in many different businesses at the same time, and they are likely to be more open to change. They will evolve in order to increase their chances of success, while the business owner may remain set into his or her ways, unable to imagine making their business into anything other than what it is.

Situations can change. Businesses, people and their priorities change, and as they do, entrepreneurs can become business owners and business owners can become entrepreneurs. A steady, stable business can be the best goal at one point in your life, while taking risks can become more attractive at another. Whether it is better to be an entrepreneur or a business owner depends on what you want from your career at a particular time of your life, and on whether your skills are more suited to taking smart risks or sticking to what you know well.

Smart cards are cards with embedded chips that can be used to process data. They are also known as integrated circuit or chip cards. They are usually the same size as a credit card, and made of plastic, although SIM cards are also a form of smart card.

The first use of smart cards was in phone cards for pay phones in France. Since then, they have been used in debit and credit cards, SIM cards in cell phones, and as a means of payment for public transport. More recently, smart cards have been used as identity cards.

Security is very high with smart cards. They are tamper-resistant, with a cryptographic algorithm to protect the data that they carry. This makes them ideal for identity cards, credit cards and other cards that contain personal or financial information.

Every contact smart card has a small gold area on its surface. This is the part of the card that must make contact with the card reader. An electronic connector reads the card through the gold pad. The card must be inserted into the reader in the correct orientation so that the gold pad is placed in the correct position to be read.

Contactless smart cards are now available. Unlike the older cards, these only need to be positioned close to the contactless card reader, rather than inserted into a reader. This makes the contact less cards much quicker to use, which is particularly advantageous when paying for public transport. The card can just be touched against the reader when entering a bus or passing through a gate, without needing to stop and use a card reader.

The main drawback to using smart cards is that they are easily damaged. The plastic cards are often broken, particularly as they are likely to be roughly handled and stuffed into pockets and handbags. It is fairly cheap to replace a broken smart card, however.

Lenovo’s new X series ThinkPad, the X201, is a powerful tablet computer with a 12.1 inch touchscreen.

The X201 comes with up to 8GB of RAM and a low voltage Intel Core i7 processor. Versions are available with the Intel Core i7 640LM and 6290LM processors. There are also several choices of hard drive: a 5400 RPM drive of 320 GB, a 7200 RPM drive of 250GB capacity or a solid state drive of 20 or 128GB. The LED screen can be either a super-bright outdoor screen or a multi-touch screen.

The ThinkPad X201 has a webcam, speakers and a microphone. There are three USB and one VGA ports and there is an Express Card slot. A 5 in 1 or 3 in 1 media card reader with a modem can be included, although there is also a version of the X201 without a modem.

Unlike some tablet computers that are intended only for internet browsing, the ThinkPad X201 is powerful enough to rival some PCs. It cannot compete with the slimmer, ultra-portable tablet computers in terms of size, however.

The design is conservative, without any major changes from the older X series models. It is fairly thick and heavy, compared to some of the other tablet computers in the range, although this does allow room for a number of ports. The 4-cell battery option is lighter than the 6-cell version, but it doesn’t last as long.

The X201 is pleasant to handle, with firm keys set at a comfortable angle for typing. There is a small touchpad alongside the keyboard, and a stylus that can be used on the touchscreen instead of the fingers. The screen reacts well to both of these inputs, and multitouch gestures work well. The screen is bright and clear. It moves smoothly, with a sturdy hinge and a strong latch to hold it in place when it is flipped around.

Intel announced the release of a new processor, the Core i7 980X in 2010. This six core processor has been designed under the codename Gulftown, and internet rumors about its features and performance have been rife. Many people expected the chip to be branded as the i9, rather than added to the existing i7 range.

The Intel Core i7 980X processor is a six core, twelve thread, 32nm manufactured chips with 12MB of L3 cache memory, 130W thermal design power and a 6.4 GT/s Quickpath Interconnect. It also has a DDR3 1066 memory integrated memory controller.

The i7 980X is the first six core processor to be developed by Intel. It has two more cores than its predecessors in the i7 range. It also has an L3 cache that is 50 percent bigger than the Core i7 Bloomfield processor.

Intel’s hyperthreading technology allows twelve threads to run in parallel, with each of the six cores being able to run two processes. This will improve performance and multitasking.

The i7 980X also employs Intel’s turbo boost technology that allows the processor to work faster automatically when some extra performance is necessary.

The difference in performance between the i7 980X and the older i7 processors only becomes apparent when running certain types of programs. Windows doesn’t start up any faster, and game performance is not improved. It is when working with video or creating 3D models that the capabilities of the new processor are employed. Performance with this type of activity is significantly improved, since they allow the multiple cores to work in parallel. The two extra cores in the i7 980X then make a huge difference.

The i7 980X is also more energy efficient than older Intel processors, and it produces less heat.

The Intel Core i7 980X is a high-end processor that is designed for the sort of extreme performance that will only truly be used and appreciated by the most demanding computer owners.

Windows 7 was released by Microsoft in 2009, taking the place of Vista as the newest Windows operating system. The differences between Windows 7 and Vista are not as great as those between Vista and its predecessors, and the hype for Windows 7 was similarly smaller. Since Vista was not well received by consumers, this was perhaps for the best.

Windows 7 was designed to improve performance and the user experience. It comes in Starter (designed for netbooks), Home Basic (designed for countries in the developing world), Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise and Ultimate editions.

The most obvious changes in Windows 7 when compared to older versions of Windows are to the taskbar. Programs can be pinned to it so they are easily accessible, and the preview screen that pops up when the cursor hovers over a program’s icon on the taskbar has been improved from its Vista incarnation. In Windows 7, there is a separate preview of every open window for each program, and a full size version appears when the mouse is passed over the preview. The Jump List ensures that programs can be opened quickly and easily.

The Aero Peek feature, located on the taskbar, turns all windows transparent so the desktop can be seen behind them. The desktop can be organized using the Snap and Shake functions. Snap expands a window to fill either the whole screen or the left or right half only. Shake gets rid of all windows apart from the chosen one that is “shaken”.

The library function makes it easy to get to files by providing lists of all of a particular type of file (Documents, Videos, Pictures, Music) regardless of where they are stored on the computer.

Windows 7 is also designed to be quicker, better at networking and more compatible with non-Microsoft programs. It can also work with a touch screen computer to provide additional functions.

The Leica S2 is an unusual camera for its manufacturer, as it is the first digital camera to be designed by them completely in-house, and because it is a medium format digital camera. The S2 has a sensor size that is larger than 35mm- a full 56 percent larger, in fact, in a 30 x 45 mm frame. This large sensor is coupled with a huge 37.5 megapixels.

The Leica S2 is a camera for professionals. It has been designed with them in mind, and it is suited for commercial and fashion photography. As would be expected from Leica with a camera of these specifications, the Leica S2 produces wonderful pictures.

There are nine lenses in the Leica S-System, each of which is intended for professional use. Rapid shooting speeds can be used with the leaf shutter lenses.

The MAESTRO image processor, developed specifically for the S2 in conjunction with Fujitsu, ensures that the sensor and lenses can work at their best, creating the highest quality pictures without draining energy.

The Leica S2 is expensive, but it is fast and comfortable to use. The autofocus is good, but it cannot be compared to the equivalent DSLR. This is a medium format camera, and it has the usual failings when it comes to the autofocus.

The Leica S2 may be full of tricks, but it is not large or unwieldy. It is smaller than a normal 35mm DSLR and it is well built. The light weight makes it a good choice for photographers who need to travel regularly by air or who spend a lot of time on the move. It is sturdy and weatherproof, and it has a clear, 3 inch LCD screen. The physical controls are elegantly set out, making the camera easy to handle, and this simplicity is extended to the software controls, which are set out in easy to navigate menus.

Despite its revolutionary nature and advanced technology, the S2 retains the famous Leica 3:2 aspect ratio, matching that of human vision.

The Apple iPad was revealed to the world on 27 January 2010. It is a tablet computer with similar functionality to the iPhone and iPod touch. It runs on the same iPhone operating system as these devices, but has a much larger screen and is intended for users who want to read ebooks and web pages comfortably.

The iPad has a 25cm backlit touch screen, a 1 Ghz processor and between 16 and 64 GB of memory. It can connect to other devices with Bluetooth and its dock connector, and it comes with Wi-Fi, 3G or Assisted GPS internet access. Headphones can be connected to the iPad, and it has a microphone and speaker. Battery life is 10 hours. There is no camera, which has troubled some critics. The iPad comes with a selection of software including iTunes, Safari and the new iBooks program for downloading ebooks. Additional programs are available from the App Store.

The iPad has been criticized as pointless and as too much of a compromise: it is too large to compete with the pocket-sized smartphones and it lacks the capabilities of a proper laptop. Others have pointed out that the iPad is ideal for people who don’t need a powerful, portable computer. Many people never use their laptops to their full potential; they just look at a few websites, send some emails and watch a few films. The iPad could be the perfect device for the casual user who needs something easy and intuitive to use and doesn’t need all the extra capabilities of a laptop.

The iPad is intended as a device part way between a laptop and a smartphone. It is designed for media consumption, whether it is music, video, ebooks, the internet or other written texts. The iPad, along with other ebook readers, has the potential to play a major role in the evolution of publishing and the print media. Harper Collins, Conde Nast and the Associated Press have all shown an interest in the iPad as a way of selling their products directly to the reader.

An ABN or Australian Business Number is a unique 11-digit identification number that is used by the Australian Government. An ABN is useful for the Tax Office, but it is also necessary for certain business activities. Any business that is based in Australia can apply for an ABN, although having one is not compulsory.

The ABN allows a business to be easily identified by government departments that need to deal with it. This will usually be the Tax Office, although other government agencies will also be able to use the ABN to identify businesses. This will make interactions between businesses and the government quicker and easier.

Businesses do not have to get an ABN, although they will find it useful and they will need one if they are going to be dealing with goods and services tax or if they want to prevent other businesses from withholding tax on payments they are receiving.

Businesses will quote their ABN whenever they have dealings with the government, for example in order to register for goods and services tax, claim tax credits or register as a charity. If the ABN is not included on the tax return form then the business will not be able to claim any refunds that it should be eligible for from the goods and services tax.

Businesses will also use their ABNs when dealing with each other, for example, when goods and services are exchanged, or when payments are made from which tax could be withheld. The ABN for any business can be found on the Australian Business Register, which can be searched online. This means that some information about the business will be made public when the owner registers for an ABN.

Businesses can apply for an ABN online by providing some basic details about their company, such as the name and type of business, the address and contact details for the business owner. The ABN will be given immediately.
