The one great thing about the internet, is that it allows you to keep track of people that you have not heard from in a long time. Even better than that, is that it allows you to keep track of people that are in your life now. You may want to share items, where talking on the phone would just not convey the message properly. Sometimes you do not want to meet up at the local bar but you still want to know how the persons day went. You are strapped for time, since you have a proposal at work due, so a telephone call is out of the question as well. So if your friends are all part of a social media web site such as Facebook, all you have to do is post a quick little blurb asking everyone how their day went. Later on, after you have finished your work, you can go back on Facebook and see their answers. If you are not able to be on your home computer or laptop, you can still use your IPhone to keep updated on what is going on with everyone. Every social media web site has an application that you can use on the IPhone. These applications make it so that you can easily access the information on your profile. This means that any messages that have been left for you on that profile, will be uploaded to the IPhone. Let’s go through a couple of them and see whats available.

If you are part of Twitter, then there are a whole host of applications that you can use on the IPhone. The most popular one seems to be the application named Tweetie. It seems to be the one IPhone Twitter application that has all of the features that are available in the Twitter API. But it is not the only one on the list that comes highly recommended. You can also use an application known as iTweets. If you choose these two or another application to use on the IPhone, then you will be able to see the latest updates by your friends on Twitter. Now even when you are on the go, you will never be out of the loop.

If you use Facebook, there are of course applications for it as well. But the best thing that you can do with Facebook, is to either access the site though your Safari browser, or use the official Facebook application for the IPhone. Both of these are good solutions since Facebook has taken the time and optimized their web site to work on the IPhone especially. When you go the site on the IPhone, it will redirect you to a special slimmed down version of the site for you to use. You still have the same features but less of the clutter that is usually there.

And the last social media app that you might want on your IPhone, is part of the newest social media web craze. It is of course, Foursquare. Foursquare has an app for every major cell phone out there. With Foursquare, you will get updates on where your friends are at a certain times of the day. This application is more of a novelty than a true social media app, but it will let you know the status of some of your friends throughout the day.

These are a couple of apps that you can use to keep updated with your friends status throughout the day. The IPhone was created to bring the best of the web on a mobile phone. With these applications, they inch one step closer to making that happen.

When most people get their first IPhone, they go through every feature possible so that they can get to know the phone intimately. Especially when the phone first came out. It was so new and exciting, that a lot of the first users would study the phone religiously. Now that you see the IPhone everywhere, there is less of a worship feeling about it. People are still impressed by the IPhone but now it has become something of a commodity. It is still special, but not quite as special as it once was before. But if you are losing that magic feeling that you once had with the IPhone, then fear not. That feeling can come back and you can be awed once again, by the discovery of certain features that you may not have known about. These features might also help you become more productive with your IPhone throughout the day.

The first feature that you may or may not have had noticed when you use the IPhone, is that when you shake it, it has the ability to erase a message, after you have just finished typing it. Sometimes when you are typing in the browser or any of the other applications that you may have to edit text in, you sometimes want a redo and say something a little bit differently. But it can be a pain, to go to the undo button in the phone. To avoid this, Apple made it so that you can just shake the phone and the undo option will pop up. All you have to do after that, is to confirm whether you want to undo the operation or not. Once you hit confirm, everything that you typed will be undone.

Another hidden feature that will help you throughout your day, is the fact that you can now install as many applications that you want. In the older versions of the IPhone, you had a set limit on how many applications you could install. Once you hit that limit, you would have to uninstall some of the application that you were not using at the moment. Ever since the phone updated to the 3.0 version, you can have as many applications as you want. This can be a good thing, or it can easily turn into a bad thing. You do not want to unnecessarily bog down your phone with a bunch of applications. But if you feel that you need this many applications to do your work, then you have the choice. Sometimes a person just wants to test as many apps as they can, then they will make the final decision on which one that they want.

The last hidden feature that we will discuss, is that you can tap your status bar to scroll to the top of whatever page you are looking at. This bit of information is a great time saver and something that you might want to do if you are looking at a very long document. So next time you have spent a long time scrolling to the bottom of the page, remember this feature to quickly get back to the top.

These are three hidden features that will help you be ore productive on your IPhone. There are many more that you can find if you look on Google. These discoveries will help you love the IPhone all over again.

Lenovo’s new X series ThinkPad, the X201, is a powerful tablet computer with a 12.1 inch touchscreen.

The X201 comes with up to 8GB of RAM and a low voltage Intel Core i7 processor. Versions are available with the Intel Core i7 640LM and 6290LM processors. There are also several choices of hard drive: a 5400 RPM drive of 320 GB, a 7200 RPM drive of 250GB capacity or a solid state drive of 20 or 128GB. The LED screen can be either a super-bright outdoor screen or a multi-touch screen.

The ThinkPad X201 has a webcam, speakers and a microphone. There are three USB and one VGA ports and there is an Express Card slot. A 5 in 1 or 3 in 1 media card reader with a modem can be included, although there is also a version of the X201 without a modem.

Unlike some tablet computers that are intended only for internet browsing, the ThinkPad X201 is powerful enough to rival some PCs. It cannot compete with the slimmer, ultra-portable tablet computers in terms of size, however.

The design is conservative, without any major changes from the older X series models. It is fairly thick and heavy, compared to some of the other tablet computers in the range, although this does allow room for a number of ports. The 4-cell battery option is lighter than the 6-cell version, but it doesn’t last as long.

The X201 is pleasant to handle, with firm keys set at a comfortable angle for typing. There is a small touchpad alongside the keyboard, and a stylus that can be used on the touchscreen instead of the fingers. The screen reacts well to both of these inputs, and multitouch gestures work well. The screen is bright and clear. It moves smoothly, with a sturdy hinge and a strong latch to hold it in place when it is flipped around.

The Leica S2 is an unusual camera for its manufacturer, as it is the first digital camera to be designed by them completely in-house, and because it is a medium format digital camera. The S2 has a sensor size that is larger than 35mm- a full 56 percent larger, in fact, in a 30 x 45 mm frame. This large sensor is coupled with a huge 37.5 megapixels.

The Leica S2 is a camera for professionals. It has been designed with them in mind, and it is suited for commercial and fashion photography. As would be expected from Leica with a camera of these specifications, the Leica S2 produces wonderful pictures.

There are nine lenses in the Leica S-System, each of which is intended for professional use. Rapid shooting speeds can be used with the leaf shutter lenses.

The MAESTRO image processor, developed specifically for the S2 in conjunction with Fujitsu, ensures that the sensor and lenses can work at their best, creating the highest quality pictures without draining energy.

The Leica S2 is expensive, but it is fast and comfortable to use. The autofocus is good, but it cannot be compared to the equivalent DSLR. This is a medium format camera, and it has the usual failings when it comes to the autofocus.

The Leica S2 may be full of tricks, but it is not large or unwieldy. It is smaller than a normal 35mm DSLR and it is well built. The light weight makes it a good choice for photographers who need to travel regularly by air or who spend a lot of time on the move. It is sturdy and weatherproof, and it has a clear, 3 inch LCD screen. The physical controls are elegantly set out, making the camera easy to handle, and this simplicity is extended to the software controls, which are set out in easy to navigate menus.

Despite its revolutionary nature and advanced technology, the S2 retains the famous Leica 3:2 aspect ratio, matching that of human vision.

The Apple iPad was revealed to the world on 27 January 2010. It is a tablet computer with similar functionality to the iPhone and iPod touch. It runs on the same iPhone operating system as these devices, but has a much larger screen and is intended for users who want to read ebooks and web pages comfortably.

The iPad has a 25cm backlit touch screen, a 1 Ghz processor and between 16 and 64 GB of memory. It can connect to other devices with Bluetooth and its dock connector, and it comes with Wi-Fi, 3G or Assisted GPS internet access. Headphones can be connected to the iPad, and it has a microphone and speaker. Battery life is 10 hours. There is no camera, which has troubled some critics. The iPad comes with a selection of software including iTunes, Safari and the new iBooks program for downloading ebooks. Additional programs are available from the App Store.

The iPad has been criticized as pointless and as too much of a compromise: it is too large to compete with the pocket-sized smartphones and it lacks the capabilities of a proper laptop. Others have pointed out that the iPad is ideal for people who don’t need a powerful, portable computer. Many people never use their laptops to their full potential; they just look at a few websites, send some emails and watch a few films. The iPad could be the perfect device for the casual user who needs something easy and intuitive to use and doesn’t need all the extra capabilities of a laptop.

The iPad is intended as a device part way between a laptop and a smartphone. It is designed for media consumption, whether it is music, video, ebooks, the internet or other written texts. The iPad, along with other ebook readers, has the potential to play a major role in the evolution of publishing and the print media. Harper Collins, Conde Nast and the Associated Press have all shown an interest in the iPad as a way of selling their products directly to the reader.
